St John’s wort
St John’s wort is a leafy herb of open ground with bright yellow flowers. It is held to improve vision. Healers use it for failing sight and for wounds, and those who practice the arcane use it in their work. Its old name means over an apparition. Stock that feed on it grow sick in strong sun.
