Skeldic traders are small commercial entities. They normally trade in silver or, in greater denominations, in gems. The Skelds are probably the most competent gem traders, and jewel engravers.
Gold
Not a lot of gold circulates outside the Markish and dwarven sphere of control. This is one of the complications of Skeldic culture.
