Fava Bean
A common bean that feeds the poor, dangerous to some, and the subject of an old warning from the Velasian imperial healers.
Fava bean
The fava, or broad bean, is a common food and fodder, and it feeds the poor. For some people, and for whole families, it brings a grave sickness, which the mundane world calls favism. A warning against eating it has come down from the Velasian imperial healers. The bean is also linked in old lore with the dead.
