Opium poppy
Opium poppy is a plant of far countries, rare and difficult to obtain in the Markish lands. Its juice is said to bring sleep and to ease every pain, but accounts of it disagree, and its powers are uncertain. It is said to be dangerous, and that some who take it sleep and do not wake. Few healers have seen it, and fewer still would claim to know it.
